Dear friends,
Do you believe in the power of prayer? I mean, do you REALLY believe that prayer changes things? When was the last time you seriously committed something to the Lord and left Him to sort it out (while you release it totally)? Let’s try and do it today. Bring something to the Lord now and allow God to work things out in His ways, and in His time.
If you have any prayer request/s, please let the rest of the group know here (click on ‘Comments’):
I leave you this verse for thought today: Psalm 46:10 - “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Have a blessed day!

7th May – From Lee Pheng
Please pray for Wesley. Have been waking up in the middle of the night due to blocked nose and wants his “ong mua”. Just got new medicine for him today and hope this will work. Also for William who hurt his back yesterday evening when he picked Wesley up… it was so bad in the middle of the night that he thought he would need to be hospitalized for a few days! Thankfully his prayers were answered and in the morning it was much better, though not completely well. Doc says it is muscle spasm and has given him muscle relaxant, ointment, pain-killer and a ‘nerve tonic’+ 2 days MC. Pls pray for rapid recovery so that Wes will not be deprived of his ‘transporter’ – Wes reaches the things that are out of his reach using this transporter like kind of a lift… actually more of a forklift, that responds when he points and go, ‘ah, ah, ah’ or ‘ern, ern, ern’!Pray also that Wesley will accept that his transporter will be out of action for a few days and he won’t create a fuss when it doesn’t respond to his command!

Prayer request for all:

Kindly pray for our children who are having exams and parents who are anxious about it. Please pray that our kids will have inner peace and clarity of mind as they step into those horrifying exam halls or classrooms. Please ask the Lord to give our kids the reassurance that their value is NOT dependent on how they fare at the exams, but rather their value is always in the eyes of God, through the price which our Lord Jesus has paid (help our parents in the group understand this too!).
Please let all our kids feel stress-free and by doing so, be set free to understand the importance of exams in our education system; and as a result – be blessed with a positive attitude towards exams, and have the desire to excel in them for the right reasons. Lord, do let this time be a time of bonding and support between parents and children instead of of a time of tension and frustration. And above all, help them score As and A-stars please
(Haha, if that is part of the Lord’s plans, it will HAPPEN!)
Thank you, Lord Jesus! May the glory be Yours.
In Jesus Name we pray…. Amen!
